We’ve uploaded the streaming videos of all of the program sessions to the Internet Archive. Unfortunately we’re missing the closing keynote by Andrea Reimer, however our friends at IASSIST have a similar talk by her videotaped here. Presentation slides are also up – see links on the program schedule page.
Thanks everyone for attending Access 2011 and for sending us great feedback! See you next year.
All the best, courtesy of your superstar Organizing Committee:
Want to get out and run while in Vancouver? One of the Birds of a Feather sessions on Thursday will be a short run (30 minutes), lead by a member of the Access Organizing Committee. This is a good chance to raise your metabolism before consuming all those empty calories during the Commercial Drive excursion. If you’re interested, meet in the Hyatt lobby at 5:15 pm with your running gear on.
Jon Beasley-Murray’s opening keynote “From Access to Interactivity” promises to be provocative and set the tone for the conference theme: “The Library is Open”. Read his abstract and prepare to join the Access revolution!
Registration is open for Access 2011, October 19-22, 2011 in Vancouver!
Don’t forget to book the hotel. The special conference rate ends September 19, 2011.
We’re also pleased to offer a way to sponsor a student to attend the conference with whatever amount you’re able to give.
See you in Vancouver!
Thanks to everyone who submitted a proposal for the Access 2011 conference. Our submissions are now closed. Program and registration information coming soon!
